Originally from St. Paul, Minnesota, Dr. Abanonu earned his undergraduate degree in Biology with highest honors from the University of St. Thomas, where he also served as captain of the varsity soccer team and briefly played professional soccer. He later completed medical school with honors recognition before pursuing residency training in Internal Medicine at Seton Hall University in Newark, New Jersey. His additional fellowship training in aesthetics, regenerative medicine, pain management, and behavioral health reflects the clinic’s philosophy of treating the whole person, rather than just individual symptoms.
